The title of the movie is hidden at least twice in the movie. (1) Near the beginning of the film, the newspaper that's magnified by the pair of reading glasses next to it has text that reads, "Chief Wilson proclaimed 'WE WON'T QUIT TILL WE HAVE THIS SICKO CORNERED!'" (2) Near the end of the film, the camera pans across some cans and boxes on a shelf. A can of corn is placed next to a quarter-turned box so that the word "corn" from the can, and "ered" from the end of text written on the box, spells out the name of the movie.

The beer that everyone drinks is Maze Beer, named after co-Writer and Director Daniel Maze.

When the killer is looking over the ice cream bars displayed on the lid of the freezer, one of them is a "Vega" bar, named after Producer Alan Noel Vega.
