Joe and his father Michael move to Transit, California after unlawful divorce back in Washington. When Joe disagrees with the move, he meets three teenage skaters who take him under their wing in the new city.
When Joe learns more about George, he questions Ivan and his actions towards Dave's behavior with George, while the group heads to the more dangerous part of Transit.
While Dave cherishes his new gift, it doesn't take long for the blame to be put on George while Michael grounds Joe, only for him to sneakily leave his house to fix the guys problems before it gets out of hand.
When an old friend of Dave's and Ivan's comes back into the picture, Dave has some unlawful words for him, and Ivan has new hatred for him. But things take a turn when Dave meets his limit, while Joe reconnects back with George.
Dave introduces the guys to an impossible hill to skate called "Death Hill", but when Joe learns an abhorrent truth about Dave, he and Ivan try to lure George into meeting Dave at the hill for an apology that will change their lives.
Joe's made his decision. George's actions have put question marks in front of Ivan and Joe's life. But when Michael and Joe are at the last thread of their relationship, it may seem like all is lost for everyone.
