Great Pretender

This is quite an easy enough game show to understand but it really lacks appeal. Basically it is a general knowledge quiz show, as most of them are and the contestants have to answer as many of them as possible. One is labelled as the Great Pretender who works against the others. The rest have to find out who the Great Pretender is.

The Great Pretender contestant is given all the answers to the questions so they can raise the most money to win, but they have to be careful not to answer too many questions correctly as this may give them away. If they win, they win all the money. If they lose, the prize money is split between the other contestants.

This does have the making of a very good TV show and Chris Tarrant is a really good presenter, but for some reason the show just falls flat.

If you see it, you'll know exactly what I mean.

If this is the first time you have seen Chris Tarrant on TV, don't be put off he is so much better than this.
