Plot

The main characters Candace and Sassy, were born in a two-parent household. Their father is the pastor of their home church while their mother stand at his side for many years as the first lady. To the outside, the two girls have the perfect home and upbringing. Where they grew up, a father being present in a child's life isn't the norm. Although it all looks like a fairy tale, the deepest and darkest secrets are buried beneath the floors of their home. Sassy has always been committed to protecting her little sister from anything that tried to harm her but she found it difficult protecting Candace from their very own father. There have been times where Sassy would roll out of sleep, to find their father hoovering over a frightened Candace. There wasn't much she could do at such a young age, except tell their mother but their mother refused to believe it. This creates fury and resentment for Candace, towards her sister. After a childhood filled with Sexual abuse and incest, the two girls find themselves at the opposite end of the world. Candace goes on to marry Jev and bare their only daughter Jayda. While Sassy lives on the streets, prostituting and selling drugs to get by. When the two sister's crosses path in their adulthood after not seeing each other since they were sixteen, Candace is thrilled to have her back. Soon after reconnecting, Sassy begins sleeping with her sister's husband, Jev. Candace finds Sassy's betrayal unforgivable and demands that everyone surrounding her, must pay.
