Ondu Shikariya Kathe

Loved this movie. It tells us the perils of wanton greed. All actors do justice to their characters. A great launchpad to what promises to be an illustrious career of the rookie director.

Very well made movie. Story is very different. Climax gave justice to the movie. Even though movie is slow it's not even one bit boring.

The film has been written and directed well. The screenplay though feels like reading a novel especially on the likes of those stories that appeared in Sudha/ kasturi/ Thushara magazines. If I wanted to READ a novel/ story, I would have read one. The writing wasn't wasn't great for a 'feature film'. The pace of the film is very slow but it does hold a grip from the time of the first major incident. But the climax is more of an abrupt halt than an open ending. There are many characters and every character has been used well in the script. But because the title of the film is 'Ondu SHIKHARIYA Kathe', the climax felt incomplete.

Thin line story stretched a bit. This may look suitable for drama plays.. but didn't suit much well for a film.

Watched Ondu Shikariya kathe 2 days before. It is a beautiful story shuttling between good and bad in each person. Each character is beautiful woven to depict a good ending. Few shots stand out in the movie just like the ones with forest and hunt and boat scene.
