The world premiere of the first Imelda (2014) was at Quebec City Film Festival on September 21st, 2014. The world premiere of the sequel was the opening film at the same festival on September 16th, 2020. Martin Villeneuve was accompanied on the red carpet by his father Jean, and by actor Robert Lepage who portrays him.

Blown away

Blown away is always what you feel when you get to see anything that involves Martin Villeneuve. In everything he accomplishes, there is so much humility, sensibility and thought. It was no surprise to me that this short would be so AMAZING. Martin Villeneuve's attention to details, great acting/directing, and stunning writing are so powerful and well executed. Looking forward to Simone, the following "Imelda" of the short film series.
