The Pound Puppies (1985)

Trivia

The Pound Puppies

Edit
This marks the debut of Cooler, the optimistic leader with a witty sense of humor and wears his trademark blue leather-jacket; The Nose(Later renamed Nose Marie in the TV Series), a girl dog who wears a blue skirt with the remarkable sense of smell; Howler, the inventive dog with curly, yellow hair who only howls and wears a red derby; and Bright Eyes, another girl dog who has brown hair and blue eyes. They will appear again in their own TV Series.
This is the only time when Puppy Power was never mentioned nor seen. Puppy Power (allowing humans with pure hearts to communicate with animals) would later appear in the Pound Puppies TV Series.
Nabbit's full name is Dabney Nabbit.
While providing the voice of Mother Superior, June Foray also voiced an Old Woman, in the same way she voiced one of the Looney Tunes characters, Granny.
Tubbs and Flack were inspired by Horace and Jasper from Disney's One Hundred and One Dalmations respectively.
