Cornelius Ruck (No. 155)

Dembe drops Red off on an island in what is obviously a frigid climate. There he is to meed a host, and four others who are to put their Russian caskets together and decide on a price for their sale. But like Agatha Christie, one of them becomes greatly ill and dies. Soon others meet similar fates. But there are forces on the island, Turkish agents. It's a good episode because for once there are no outside forces to muddy things up. We do get a look at Reddington's past romantic partner who runs the island. We also get some quite serious methods of killing. This is a pretty good episode. Of course, Reddington is drawn back to his own world and own rules.

Reddington kissing the woman was the best scene of season 7 so far, probably the best scene in the entire series.

After the last episode this one was indeed refreshing, even if the plot was a bit thin. A whole episode with Reddington - marvellous. No Liz - wonderful. Previous reviewers have complained that there is not enough of Reddington and then when we do have a full episode of just him - they complain. Enough. Still the best show on the box and I have watched from the beginning.

This Blacklist episode was most certainly a unique one, which included some call backs to Katarina and Reddingtons 'Cape-May' episode a few seasons ago...

At times I had my back at the edge of my seat, at others, I was waiting for the scene to finish. The structure of the episode was very poor, it would have been nice to see other cast members portrayed throughout rather than having the island without a cut break for 35 minutes.

I liked the 'Killing Strangers' shootout/fight sequence it was a very well done scene... The overall Blacklister was a bit boring.

There was a good ending to the episode with some of the task force there for Liz... I liked the ending with Red and liz, but I wish Liz introduced Red to Agnes it would have been nice (it would have showed Liz cares for Red, rather than just saying it)

One more point to make... where was Victoria Fenberg.... I think it would have been resonable to resolve that plot in the last few minutes before the ballet scene... Further it would have been nice to see Red pop into Ilya and check how he is right before the Ballet scene, but now I am pushing it with things they could have included... :) Overall an ok episode, worth the watch

Yes, the premise might be a bit hackneyed, and the villain was pretty ordinary, but hey, we finally got a decent chunk of Spadertime!

I'm also a fan of Joely Richardson, so having her in it was a bonus.
