Hana arrives in the US for an agricultural conference pregnant and anxious. But not just anxious about her unborn child. She and her husband have come up with a plan that will allow them to leave Egypt for good, and come to America. Unfortunately, things start to go wrong almost from the start.

Hana uses her wits to find a way to get to Sacramento to visit an old University friend while her husband in Cairo tries to save the apiary and travel to the USA.
