Like with many short movie anthologies this has good and not so good entries. I reckon some might argue some weak entries actually. But overall I did like what I got served here. Some are a bit stranger than others too and I was a bit irritated by how certain segments were cut in. You don't seem to get a resolution ... or not one you may hope for with some shorts here.
Having said that, this is horror and it will be a matter of taste. One thing is for sure, there is enough blood and gore and it begins with a bang. Whatever you may think of the first story, it is more than well made and it hits all the right points. Same goes for the animated one ... so all in all a more than decent effort.

Im not going to do a review for the short stories. Some were great some i have seen on youtube many times before. I do want to give my opinion on the actual star Brandon, the embodiment of what I think most clowns feel on the inside! The guy was gross, kinda dumb, perfect amount of self loathing and in my opinion all things combined made him unsettling and off putting, which I am going to assume was his goal. So for that reason I give Brandon, the worst kinda clown there is, an honest one, 8 out of 10 stars!! The movie really isn't as bad as the ridiculous humorless "critics" are saying. Its a perfect rainy day afternoon watch!! Give it a shot it is more horror comedy than straight up horror. I enjoyed it and in the end that's all that matters!!
One of your typical anthology movies that tries to tie stories together and be clever, but instead turning out a confusing mess of garbage. Even if it replaced the boring host in between segments with The Crypt Keeper himself, it couldn't save this sinking ship.
It started off ok, but just nose dives before it's halfway through. A couple of the stories are ok, some have some decent visual FX and gore moments, but overall it falls flat on being anything memorable other than it tried to hard to have hidden messeges that try to be clever, but are just eye rolling bad.
Had it been edited better, and had 45 mins cut out of it, it would've made a decent Tales from the Crypt episode. Unfortunately what this actually is, is a decent 20 minute idea stetched out painfully with an extra hour of filler to get it to be released as a full length feature rather than the short TV episode it should've been.

As with all anthologies, there are good stories and there are bad ones. I felt this was a bit more unique than a lot of the more recent horror anthologies I've seen. The stories were mostly funny, quirky, and weird. It does have some really boring bits though but I'd still recommending watching it.
Without a doubt, the worst film I've seen for a long while. Boring, disconnected, pretentious.
