Facing the hard truth that both her and her husband are infertile, a young woman pushes further away from him in their small Brooklyn apartment, as she reveals an unorthodox solution to their conception. Marina Cano has been trying and failing to get pregnant for a while now. When she and her husband learn that they will have to choose an alternative method, their relationship begins to fall apart. After meeting with a fertility doctor, Jose notices a shift in his wife and wonders if she is losing her mind. Now he must decide where to draw the line.
