Sharp editing, racy screenplay, raw characters, and intrinsic music makes this one good web series. There's a high usage of profanity throughout the series but it doesn't feel forced. The characters of Nagma & Lachamma could have been explored a bit more. Dominant focus on Raju may make you feel this as another protagonist show as Anvesh portrays Raju's rustic antics very well throughout.
I remember watching a different trailer of Kotha Poradu back in 2018 during the 3rd or 4th screening of Nirudyoga Natulu at Sarathi Studios and that was an amazing cut, perhaps it was a pitch trailer. I wonder why the same wasn't used by Aha & the crew. If Anvesh or Mahi Illindra or anyone from the crew is reading this, do release that other trailer out.

This is by far the best Telugu web series I've seen so far. A genuine attempt by all. Truly natural acting by everyone. It almost feels like you are actually present in the situations shown. Authentic to the core and the best part of it all - it isn't pretentious, like most other telugu content.
We should appreciate AHA by taking these scripts forward!
Local Telangana Classic drive story'.Everything is perfect!
A Must Watch Webseries,
Raju (Anvesh Michael) Nethi Rajesh (Raj Tirandas) Both Are nailed their Roles.
Everyone lived in theirs characters.
It explores Telangana culture and Life style.
Music ,Cinematography and Editing Top Notch.
This lesser known web series from literally unknown actor-director has everything that well known films/web series from Telugu most often lack.
It just proves that at the end of the day, it is writing and how you effectively you narrate it to the audience are what matters most than commercial values of the lead actors or technicians involved in a creative venture. Good creative ventures are about keeping things subtle while going forward with the plot. The caste equations play a crucial role in kicking off the core drama, but to stay sway from the temptation of giving it a name and keeping it as a human story is incredible. The story keeps you hooked because of the way it is edited. None of the actors are well-known faces and yet they looked so natural in their roles.
In the world of silly, repetitive and stupid formula based films in Telugu, it is absolutely refreshing to see a director who gives enough space for women to play great roles and thereby adding to the drama. I finished season 1 in one sitting and that is how brilliant it was, but the second season wasn't as great as I expected. Partly because some well-written characters from season 1 didn't take off in season 2. Partly also because I watched 'nirudyoga natulu' webseries and loved it so much, so I kind of felt the season 2 of Kotha poradu was repetitive, but for a new person it may be very very interesting. But, towards the end it all ties up well again.
As much as there is so much of fun, the characters of istarayya and his wife will stay with me for long time. What is amazing is how Ashwin wrote the dialogues without being pretentious and therefore making the characters look real and authentic. The dialogues looked so authentic even though swear words were used so liberally. Never in my life so many swear words which are part of dialogues made me feel so much at home :). That is a mark of a talent and I wish to see more wonderful works from this talented actor-director. While the writing and acting of almost everybody is top notch, what stood out for me are editing and fantastic background music.
I would recommend this for anyone who would want to re-discover good telugu content with it's heart at the right place.
