LOST COS is a must movie. No need to think too deep, just enjoy. This movie does have a deeper sense, but it tries hard to hide it. Packed with action, great costumes we dive into the world of COSPLAY.
The point of this movie is that life, just like this movie, is chaos and you might as well enjoy it, while you are living it.
Whether it invites one to become Cosplayer? I doubt it. But it sure shows that cosplayers are real people of flesh and blood with lots of emotions...or are they?
We never really find out. That is the beauty of it.
The makers certainly knew what they were doing when producing this movie. Somehow it remotely makes you think of a Tarentino-movie, but then different....
any way, enjoy!

Lost Cos is a wild cinematic romp through a subcultural underworld! Lost Cos offers a powerful narrative about empowerment, belonging, and the power of identity. Action, comedy, drama. I fully enjoyed this film!
You'll love the wild cast of characters in this film, from MC Murray Hill and the members of the NYC underground to all the ridiculous cops. The food cart guys were hysterical and such an on point piece of New York City. The director translates his vision and experience in theater into building this dynamic on-screen world.
Go see the film if you're a cosplayer or just interested in pop culture, urban fantasy, and hero storylines.

Lost Cos is a bold mix of fantasy, mystery, emotional truth... and just the right amount of twisted fun. Set in New York's underground cosplay and burlesque scene, it dives deep into identity, grief, and transformation.
Evgeniya Radilova is phenomenal as Eni - a woman caught between trauma and reinvention-delivering a magnetic performance that's both deeply human and unapologetically badass.
This isn't your average "cosplay" movie. It's a dark fairytale for adults, with superhero vibes, unexpected laughs, and a heart that beats beneath the glitter and grit.
Highly recommended for fans of offbeat indie gems, complex female leads, and stories that aren't afraid to mix pain with play.

I got to see LOST COS early and often in its festival run, and I liked it more each time. It's a genuine indie film and it shows - unevenness, plot holes and one great continuity gaff (in the versions I saw) - but a few terrific performances and some phenomenal cosplay verisimilitude make it more than worth seeking out.
Evgeniya Radilova has created a dark superheroine of vengeance you want to root for. (I wouldn't mind a series about Vampireniya.) First-time film director De Le Vita keeps things moving with some great (darkly) comic moments, especially one subplot featuring Tony Naumovski, a marvelous East European actor.
And the inclusion of comic art by Adriano Moraes brilliantly illuminates the world of LOST COS.

That was, without a doubt, one of the best films I've ever had the pleasure of watching. From the opening scene to the final frame, it delivered a cinematic experience that was both emotionally powerful and visually breathtaking. The storytelling was rich and layered, keeping me fully engaged throughout. Each performance felt authentic and deeply human, with the cast bringing a raw intensity that elevated every moment. The direction was confident and purposeful, with every shot crafted to serve the narrative in a meaningful way. The soundtrack perfectly complemented the tone, subtly enhancing the emotional arcs without ever feeling intrusive. This was more than just a movie-it was an experience that left a lasting impression. It felt timely, necessary, and long overdue. A film like this reminds us why cinema matters: to inspire, to challenge, and to connect. Truly unforgettable.
