    Fun and different

Very enjoyable unique film! Extremely hard to find a movie like this. Interesting and different type of humor to come across. A beautifully directed and written movie that shows the underground cult like scene of cosplay. Creating a clear visual of how cosplayers think and visualize themselves. Very unique and rare to come across a movie that showcases this particular world. Finally a non corny and humorous movie. Im getting tired of all the same type of box office action movies. This is a great indie movie that represent both fun, humour and the darker side of the cosplay world. I can't wait for part 2!

    an evening of pure fun!

LOST COS is a must movie. No need to think too deep, just enjoy. This movie does have a deeper sense, but it tries hard to hide it. Packed with action, great costumes we dive into the world of COSPLAY.

The point of this movie is that life, just like this movie, is chaos and you might as well enjoy it, while you are living it.

Whether it invites one to become Cosplayer? I doubt it. But it sure shows that cosplayers are real people of flesh and blood with lots of emotions...or are they?

We never really find out. That is the beauty of it.

The makers certainly knew what they were doing when producing this movie. Somehow it remotely makes you think of a Tarentino-movie, but then different....

    any way, enjoy!

    Cosplay's instant cult classic

I got to see LOST COS early and often in its festival run, and I liked it more each time. It's a genuine indie film and it shows - unevenness, plot holes and one great continuity gaff (in the versions I saw) - but a few terrific performances and some phenomenal cosplay verisimilitude make it more than worth seeking out.

Evgeniya Radilova has created a dark superheroine of vengeance you want to root for. (I wouldn't mind a series about Vampireniya.) First-time film director De Le Vita keeps things moving with some great (darkly) comic moments, especially one subplot featuring Tony Naumovski, a marvelous East European actor.

And the inclusion of comic art by Adriano Moraes brilliantly illuminates the world of LOST COS.

    Lost Cos Review

Lost Cos is a movie directed by Robin de Levita starring Evgeniya Radilova.

Lost Cos is a unique movie filmed on location in New York City and using the world wide phenomenon of cosplay as a backdrop to tell her story using the cosplay community to bring the world to life albeit it's not the Comicon world. It created and underbelly world of cosplay where it's underground locations where it's exclusive and not everyone is welcome.

It tells the story of Eni who is struggling to cope with the death of her partner and becomes a vigilante. It has a tone that hearkens back to The Prophecy. It has well humor, sex and violence. It has pacing problems and choppy at times but great performances by local New York home grown actors. Robin and Evgeniya used some actual cosplayers to fill out the the world of Lost Cos. There are also animated inserts to help tell the story with a 70's underground comics feel and a dash of Ralph Bakshi The animated sequences were created by Adriano Moraes.

The soundtrack is synth and effective.

Evgeniya does a great job of a woman struggling and overcoming her inner demons. She is a seasoned actress and it shows.

First time director Robin de Levita did a great job directing.

It's currently doing the Film Festival circuit racking up accolades and awards.

This movie deserves a watch as it's the only feature out that is putting cosplay front and center.

When this movie streams and you're a cosplayer give it a watch.

    Ray.

    A Wild Ride

Part comic strip, part superhero urban adventure, this film brings the viewer into the underbelly of the NYC Cosplay world.

The film has an ultra independent feel. The acting is superb and the animation sequences by Adriano Moraes create a feeling of being deep within the story. Lost Cos is Helmed by the ultra talented and highly seductive Evgeniya Radilova. Excellent performances are on display by an ensemble cast, including Tony Naumovski and many other bright lights. The costumes, designed by Patrick Saint Jean have a gritty, real world feel. Although the film delves into fantasy, it always comes across as authentic. It's wild and definitely worth the ride.
