The Life and Crimes of New Jack

New Jack was a hard core extreme wrestler. He was not known by mainstream viewers and came nowhere near organisations such as WWE/WCW.

His behaviour raised one interesting question about the wrestling industry.

If an employee operating heavy machinery is on booze or drugs and caused an injury. He could get sacked, face criminal or civil sanctions along with his employer.

New Jack openly admitted he went to wrestling matches both high on drugs and boozed up.

He had anger management issues and would lose his temper. Causing serious injuries to his opponent, often with the use of blades.

You do feel that New Jack is someone who should had gone to jail for what he did. As Jim Cornette states, some of the stuff that went on was without the consent of his opponent.

New Jack tried to put it down to his abusive childhood but it just looked like making excuses. He was boastful about his bad behaviour.

Ironically, despite his controversial ring career. New Jack died in May 2021 of a heart attack in his sleep.

      Legend

New Jack set out to be not only hated, but DESPISED.

      He definitely achieved that.

His matches were entertaining, extreme and insane.

He would find it HILARIOUS so many white (probably) people are giving him bad reviews. If you actually pay attention to what he was saying, he matched respect. You disrespected him... that was on YOU.

This show focused way to much on a few negative incidents rather than dues being paid and years being spent honing the craft.

Ignore other reviews, this episode is amazing. New Jack was something to see, man.

      Rest easy, Jack.

Why did this degenerate get a spotlight?

This was one vile human being that should not be celebrated by having been the star of this episode. Why are we glorifying his disgusting actions? Poor taste, even for "dark side"

      Thug

The man was a thug, not a wrestler. He may blame a bad childhood but there's plenty more people in the world who've had worse and turned out okay.

      We shouldn't celebrate criminals

I gave this episode a 1 because it allows this criminal to be glorified and feel justified.
