Godforsaken

There are A LOT of bad found footage movies out there but I try and watch them all because it is my favorite sub genre. Godforsaken really blew me out of the water. The last 40 minutes of this movie is absolutely insane! Great movie to watch with friends in the dark.

Promising in the beginning. The premise was good but the acting & the execution was done horribly. I feel if the budget was bigger it would have came out a lot better. The actors weren't good. There was times when I thought it just looked horrible. I feel it could be a good book. I was suggestes this one & was not expecting what I got honestly.

For a low budget it's very well done. The makeup is solid and thr acting is actually quit believable. Obviously not perfect and a little cheesy sometimes. Still makes me wonder why most of these kind of films are so poor when it doesn't seem tough to pull off.

I would have given this a zero if I was able to. The acting was so bad that it caused me physical pain. The guy in the wheelchair, his acting was so bad I wanted to rip my own leg off just so I had something to throw at him. The Chad's mother, her acting was so bad!!!! Also, the guy who played Chad his acting was terrible!!! It was so bad.

Also, they were dancing around with those red pieces of wood, and they never explained it!!! I hated this film and it was one of the worst films I've ever seen which is sad because I originally liked the storyline it just went round in circles and by the end of it I just hope that they all died. I turned it off after a while because I was doing a disservice to my own retinas at that point.

Found footage is my favourite horror genre and this film let people down.

People who are voting it about a 5 either worked on the film or are family members of the actors.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you deserve better and choose another film.

Cool twist conceptually. Low budget do no high expectations there but the acting - especially the mom - was terrible. If that could've been a tiny but more convincing this would be a strong contender for a solid atmospheric found footage horror.

It was original in how it combines a few genres of horror into found footage that you don't often see, or see done well. The set up for the story was very unsettling but then it looses steam at the end when you hit trope after trope. But if you're a found footage junkie like me who will watch anything in the sub, then you'll enjoy this, even if it doesn't give you the amazing suspension of disbelief that you need to feel the tension it tries to build.
