Gordon Kemp (No. 158)

I loved this episode. I don't get why people are so worked up about the anti-gun thing. It's a fictional story, and we need to realise as much. Overall, as a story it was average, but I love episodes where Red is personally involved - the only other one I remember is 'The Mombasa Cartel' - his monologues alone are worth a 10! The other thing I loved about this one was the battle between Red and Harold, very intense and unexpected. Keep up the amazing work guys, more personal vendettas please!

Look, I'm not a gun nut. I'm not even opposed to the writers' beloved trick of grabbing a real world social issue and showing how it divides the characters into conflicting and opposite sides, thus immersing the audience more into the story because hey, the characters have political beliefs that they're passionate about just like us. Gun violence! Controversial! But what the heck is going on here? We know Reddington reacts in an extremely impulsive way to what he perceives as injustice, trying to use his impunity to right wrongs wherever he sees them by striking down the wrongdoers. The writers use that as an excuse to have Reddington act in whatever way they want him to for the sake of the plot, no matter how insane it is. What they've had him do here completely oversteps that license. His actions are incomprehensible and strain credulity. In addition, every time someone on the writing team suggested "Wouldn't it be unrealistic for the FBI to do this?" someone else apparently countered with "Yeah, but we'll just acknowledge that fact and run with it." Give me a break.

It's about time Reddington got back to being the imposing figure he was originally. Overall, a good episode.

It's good to see Reddington's good side. But i realized that Reddington doesn't know about katarina. SO these episodes actually are casually good.

People look at this for what it is. All I saw here was a great Reddington episode. And we don't get enough of those anymore. And hating on this episode becuase Reddingon executes somebody? Seriously what show are you watching? Reddington has always done that. It's part of the show and if he stopped executing people it would be fake. That's what he does. And nobody would have a problem with it if the episode was written differently.
