View & Chew

After watching view and chew I tried out some of the restaurants (covid permitting) and I absolutely fell in love with the food this show really opened my eyes to new places to go to and eat ... it should be on food network!!!!!

View and Chew was definitely a mouth watering, binge-worthy adventure into America's big cities and cool eateries. The host has only one setting: full blast. While his high energy could have used a little bit of damping at times, the camera loves him, and he loves food. Even if you're not hungry watching this show, his descriptions of the food featured will absolutely make your stomach growl. The cinematography and editing for this show is superb, perfect to keep you interested, and most importantly, entertained! Definitely check out view and chew if you get a chance. I hope they come out with another season soon!

Mike Chen just tries too hard in this, it's just awkward watching him present. His over the top reactions and annoying mannerisms just make it so manufactured, the moment the food enters his mouth and he's already reacting and saying its the best thing he's ever had. Perhaps a more honest review of the food might be a bit more realistic. Also why does he try to stuff so much food into his mouth in one go, it's pretty gross, no one is stealing his food.

Let's not forget the juvenile humour that is littered throughout, I've never come across someone who tries to sexualise food ! The series has potential, but it's ruined by over the top food reactions and an awkward presenter.

• I've just watched a few episodes of the second season and it is so much better, more authentic and likeable presenters.

Can't wait to View & Chew some more! This show is super fun and mouthwatering. Sooo excited for the 2nd season, I need some more places to add to my bucket list.

View & Chew is so upbeat and happy! I learned some cute facts about the different cities that I didn't know before, and next time I visit any of these places I am def going to check out those restaurants. Mike Chen is hilarious, I was laughing a lot more than I expected during this show.

I would really recommend this to show. It feels super fresh and upbeat.
