This is an amusing split-reel comedy in which the 'plot' simply consists of the situation getting worse and worse -- about the same plot as Tex Avery's KING-SIZED CANARY. In this case, Leontine -- Betty in the American edition -- is at a hotel and wants to play with her boat, so she turns on the faucet. It overflows the sink and fills the room -- and most of the rest of the hotel.
The progression -- it's far too straightforward to call it a plot -- is the increasing destruction that the overflowing water wreaks. None of it is particularly surprising -- there are a lot of comedies like this from this era, particularly from Jean Durand's unit. Nonetheless the awful inevitability and the willingness to up the destruction with each iteration is amusing.
