In the legend, the following morning after an all-night drinking and driving binge, a motorist is horrified to find a young girl embedded on his car's grille, down in his garage. He had hit her while drunk and brought her back to the garage without remembering.

Although similar in subject matter, the movie "Stuck" (2007) is apparently based on the case of Chante Mallard, a Texas woman convicted for the death on her windshield of a 37-year-old homeless man.
