Indeed, George has gone to a great deal of trouble to create the right atmosphere, to provide moments of shared warmth and tenderness - but somehow, their situation remains frosted over by a chilling lack of communication. It is only when Evelyn forces herself to break the silence that a small wonder occurs.

The action takes place at an outback pub where a boundary rider (Dennis Miller) appears, and dies, and everyone drinks to remember him.
