Assassin's Creed II (2009)

FAQ

Assassin's Creed II

As in the original, the conflict between the Templars and the Assassins remains a focal plot point. The Asterbego Corporation and its primary representative, Dr. Warren Vidic, remain the primary adversary of modern day protagonist Desmond Miles. The main villain of Ezio's story is Rodrigo Borgia, better known to historians as Pope Alexander VI, as well as the father of Renaissance "femme fatale" Lucrezia Borgia.

He becomes good friends with the main character Ezio. He also helps him decipher codex pages and improve the technology with the hidden blade. He is very similar to Q from the James Bond series.

They're both ancestors of Desmond although they're of different bloodlines and not related to each other, this has been confirmed by the programmers and writers

Ezio is attacked by a gang of boys in a short sequence in the beginning of the game; a large rock is hurled at him and hits him square in the mouth leaving an obvious scar. Altair also had a similiar scar, as does Desmond.

Yes, you also get to briefly control him in the "Dream" sequence which only occurs once in the story.
