BNA was overall a light but enjoyable watch. The animation was stunning and soundtracks were great, but honestly some scenes were oddly mixed with soundtracks, like it didn't exactly fit the mood or was unneccesary at times. Honestly, I would have liked to have seen this take a darker turn or focus more on the dark side of the experiments of Michuru, but it seemed to have been more of a light and friendly theme to the show. Nothing wrong with that, but I think they missed some oppurtunities on diving deeper on some characters/relationships.
Trigger always never seems to disappoint me with their anime. This was a pretty good watch. My only gripe is with Michiru though. It seems that as the series goes on she discovers she is no ordinary beastman because her form (a tanuki) comes with interesting powers (stretching limbs, growing tail, giant ears, etc.), but she never seems to want to learn how to control these abilities in case she gets into danger. Instead she discovers the ability and then act like it dosesn't afterwards.
Other than that, it is a solid watch

This was my first real anime, after Avatar: the last airbender. it's kind of for furries, but it's pretty fun. great visuals, great music, the story isn't great but it doesn't get too much in the way. i'm not a furry.
I really wanted to love this Anime. It had likable Characters, the setting was pretty cool, I enjoyed the overall conflict humanoids had with humans and the Art-Style and Animation are straight up beautiful, but it's story is rather disappointing and leaves a lot of questions unanswered or even untouched. For the most part you kinda forget that there even is a Main-Story and that's ironically exactly when the anime has it's strongest moments, dealing with various topics and conflicts a world divided as this could have.
Don't get me wrong, there are some really fun twists and backstory revelations but the Events of the last two episodes make them appear less interesting in retrospect and also feel like they have been added last minute as if the writers themselfes forgot they had a main story to work on.
If I tried to be extra picky I would say that most characters are a little bit naive and easy to convince sometimes (definitely not all but If you have seen the show you know who I mean) ...my least favorite character however was the shows villain whose backstory was just a little bit too far fetched and cheesy for my taste (Not gonna reveal who it is though).
Overall I can't say I didn't have a good time with the series. It's fun and gorgeous to look at, I just see a lot of unused potential maybe a second season could catch up on.

The soundtrack and OP and ending are great. The show is animation is incredible, gives a combination of comedy, mystery, shonen vibe. Seemed to take ques from X-Men as far beast men go on how society is treating them and like a DBZ craziness in the fighting scenes at times. I highly recommend to anyone.
