    Bridget

A young woman rings her mother from a phone box. She escaped from hospital, she is agitated, animated by fear about a white horse, remembering past moments , imposing a condition for a trip , innacceptable for mother. The father looks old photos The little brother puts a question.

The final offers the answer about relation of Bridget with the white horse.

A beautiful film for admirable construction of story, for well used suggestions, for acting and for the last explanations about a forbiden love story , a radical measure for cure the abnormal, at first sight, behavior and the sufferance of a young woman , captive of the fears and prejudices of family.

    Somber and well-made

"A White Horse" is not an uplifting film, but it doesn't have to be. It's about a young woman named Bridget, who escaped from a psychiatric hospital. She goes to a payphone and calls her mom. Naturally, her mom is worried about her. I'm not gonna spoil the rest of the film.

Bridget is played by Amber Deasy and her performance is excellent. I felt sorry for her character. I was impressed with all the acting. The writing, cinematography, and such are very good. The film looks gloomy, which is appropriate, and the story is kinda sad. The film apparently takes place in the '70s and I think it looks accurate. I really enjoyed "A White Horse" and I highly recommend it, as long as you're not in the mood for a film that makes you happy.
