    Take a whiff

Decent episode in terms of storyline and acting. Loved seeing Farminga in her role as a scent expert, it was unexpected.

    Vera Fermiga

Vera Farmiga is such a woman, her nobility is enough the moment she enters the frame. Their match with Ewan McGregor is amazing. It would be great to see these two in a movie.

    Groucho Marx Is Annoying

Good show, flows well, makes you anticipate where the fashion business while climb next, but they make too much out of the "stud" character who resembles Groucho Marx had he a baby with Mario from Donkey Kong, he's horrible, he's moody and whiny, and just gets in the way of the story the way he probably got in the way of Halston's life, which was obviously more fulfilling than most of this series makes it out to be...

Underlining the main problem here, that while it's interesting to show a famous creative person... Halston in this case... going on a downward spiral... it needs to be balanced by more positive things, that he accomplished, and yet everything he does right here seems to be met with something he screws up, and it's doubtful his life was this way... given that he died with 100M dollars in the bank.

    OMG

If the real Halston was anywhere near the obnoxious character portrayed in this hyper woke series, it's not surprising that he ended up kicked out of his business.

This Halston is just an insufferable drama queen, focussing on his cavorting and in annoying the grownups around him. And yes, that bottle looks like a crocked little thingy.

PS and they keep on talking about "worldwide success" when in Europe at the time talked about Rive Gauche by Saint Laurent and, at most, about Charlie, but certainly not about Halston.... talk about delusional...

    • Trivia
Over the course of dinner at Halston's lavish apartment, Liza Minnelli (Krysta Rodriguez) recounts her dreadful experience shooting a movie on location in Mexico with Gene Hackman and Burt Reynolds. She never actually mentions the film's title, but it was Stanley Donen's disastrous Lucky Lady (1975), a film that was plagued with problems on a daily basis and turned out to be a critical and box office bomb.
