For the final bar scene inside The Golden Nugget, actor Frank Gonzalez accidentally wore the wrong shirt for the scene so the director Eddie Vigil V said a reason would need to be found as to why the character Brett has changed shirts (as luckily the scenes around this scene had not yet been filmed). It was decided that the character Keely would accidentally drop her hot dog onto Brett's shirt during the pier/beach scene so that it would leave a stain, therefore prompting the character to change shirts.
