Marian Rivera was the first choice of Dolphy to play her daughter. Marian initially agreed and asked the production to have the shooting be made after the run of Marimar (2007). She also delayed the production of her other upcoming movie, Amnesia. Just as Marian was set to start this movie, Dolphy and Vic Sotto went to the Visionary Awards held in U.S.A., thus the schedule was further moved. When Dolphy and Vic went back for the production. Marian has already started the production of another TV series, Dyesebel (2008) which was shot in Palawan. She was replaced by Riza Santos
Zsa Zsa Padilla and Pia Guanio, Dolphy and Vic Sotto's real life girlfriends made cameo appearances in the movie.
The movie was Rated B by the Philippine Cinema Evaluation Board.
This is the first ever movie of Comedy King Dolphy and Box Office King Vic Sotto.
The only Dolphy/Vic Sotto film and the second non-Regal film sponsored by Ginebra San Miguel Inc., through its Ginebra San Miguel product, following Burles King: Daw o... (2002). The yellow GSM logo (which is also serves the corporate logo for GSMI) did only appeared in posters, but did not appear on the closing credits in the actual film.
