A great step for Serbian cinematography, it really taps into a new area. Amazing plot and very intense photography that works perfectly with the dry brutalistic architecture.
Horror is not a genre I'm into, especially when it's done as badly as it was here. I actually hadn't realised that this was the type of programme I'd be watching until the old, mad guy started raving about "he's" at it again. Up till then, it could have been a thriller and crime drama about drug pushers on rough council estates with the added plot about disappeared youngsters. This, therefore, was not for me and I deleted after the second episode.
Most of the actors and actresses seem to have no or very few prior credits (or subsequent ones) and it shows.
Another sore point was the subtitles which had been rather poorly translated. Some were so bad that I couldn't get the sense of what was happening.
Even though I watched two episodes, I'm not going to award more than one star.

The first regional horror series - and also the first teen horror series! Across six masterfully crafted episodes, produced by Telekom Srbija and FireFly, we are shown incredible visuals of the underground world ("Block 27"), skillfully built in a studio in Pancevo. In the fifth episode, the story takes us into the origins of "Block 27" itself! We thoroughly enjoyed watching this series from late February to early March, starting on February 19, airing on weekends on Superstar 1 - and we're eagerly awaiting the continuation to see how Milica copes with the traumas from the underground block.
The storyline is intriguing and keeps your attention... until the very end. Unfortunately, in the last episode everything falls apart, there is a lack of resolution or explanation. The series falters in its conclusion, leaving the audience without any satisfying resolution or clarity. The potential for a more profound exploration of the central narrative seems unrealized, leaving a void in the overall satisfaction of the storytelling. It's unfortunate that the series stumbles in its conclusion.
Nevertheless, the historical episodes depicting the construction of Block 27 in Socialist Yugoslavia are outstanding - the cinematography is excellent, the narrative is tense and exciting. The spirit of the time is completely captured.
I would have liked to see more time devoted to this aspect, perhaps even making it the central narrative of the story. I believe it would have added much more excitement and depth to the overall plot.
