The movie itself was mid, but what a talent Shannon Harrell was. I need to see more from this actress! Usually time travel flicks aren't my jam, but she has a way of exposition that shares the essential info without feeling wooden or like she's monologuing. I've seen some of her past work but haven't found much over the past few years. She beautiful, sure, but the acting! She's got a very likable and familiar quality to her, like I've known her all my life. Like I want to know her better. I got a bootleg of her first film, My Soul to Take, which was super cool because she played against character as the bad girl everyone is rooting for to die. But in this one... chef's kiss. Perfect casting as the girl you're rooting for and the leads will never be good enough for. Five stars.
