Regular Heroes

I read the only review there is for the show and criticizes the fact they're just promoting celebrities. Honestly I disagree. The celebrity part of it it's just so temporary and minuscule that doesn't impact the show I believe. Unfortunately in the society we live nowadays, people don't watch something unless there's either some controversy involved or someone famous. I believe the small part where celebrities show up it's just to promote and make people watch it. Honestly I found out about the show through Nick Jonas Instagram and that's why I decided to watch it and I'm so glad I did. So many people are doing tremendous on the frontline and this goes to show the importance of those people. I don't want to spoil anything for you so I ain't gonna give anything away...I just loved everything about this show. It's touching. It's raw. It shows where we're at in this pandemic and it's so important to acknowledge these people. Of course it's a tiny tiny tiny percentage but hey...it's doing something. It's showing what's happening. I honestly couldn't love it more. It's so i inspiring. Yes there's celebrities. For me I watched it for the people. Not for the celebrities. You should watch it if you're someone with a kind heart that believes in humanity. If not...then don't waste your time.

I'm so tired of how quickly someone is labeled a "hero" these days just for doing their job... that they're paid to do! It sure doesn't mean what it used to! If I show up every day and stock the shelves at Walmart because that's my job and I do it so people can buy food does that make me a hero? Not for one minute!

Whatever this is... its ridiculous!

Don't get me wrong, everyday heroes needs to be recognized but show needs to remove celebrities. It more seems like PR machine created by few celebrity managers to promote their clients. Show would have been more authentic, if regular people talking about their heroes.
