Want good action, hire a stuntman to direct
This film is a little like watching an old school kung fu movie. Plot and dialogue are frankly laughable in parts but the action is phenomenal.
Chris Hemsworth is eminently watchable and I get the impression he enjoys these movies. Honestly I can take or leave the rest of the cast.
The main draw of this movie though is a quite staggering 21 minute single sequence action set piece.
The camera work during this sequence is mind blowing. The sheer scale and coordination is truly something to behold and this movie is worth watching for this alone. There are other set pieces that would stand this movie up as a decent popcorn action flick but that one sequence: wow.
