Spare the Rod

Joanna Angel, known more for her over-the-top comedic approach to porn, takes on a serious tone for this slight drama made for MissaX.

She plays a stern nun, administrator at catholic school who calls in mom Sarah Vandella to have her punish stepdaughter Scarlett Sage for causing trouble. Paddling is in order and Sarah spanks the teen by hand under Sister Joanna's supervision.

Fine acting propels the brief saga, with Scarlett seducing mom back home after they discuss their lesbian tendencies. The elaborate story set-up gives some oomph to the blonde on blonde sex scene.

At times threatening to lurch into camp territory, movie is nonetheless engrossing. Chief defect is Joanna casting herself as the nun, even though her fancy neck tattoos stick out visibly above her habit, harming the piece's credibility at the outset.
