Brashaad!!! I love this actor and I actually met him way before this movie came out. Needless to say, meeting him in person made me want to support his work even more because of the person he is. I also love his TikTok's. Watching this movie was hilarious and I loved that the Brashaad I met in person and the Bmore character are two totally different people. This man and everyone in the film can really act. Seeing all those hot guys learning how to dance to doing really nice dance choreography was nice for my eyes I must say. This movie reminded me of Magic Mike but more of a mixed version. The big girl Thickums makes this movie for me, you don't see her much but everytime she is on screen she has a major impact. You simply have to watch this movie for yourself and I'm sure you will appreciate it. I do know this was a low budget film, therefore I won't judge much there because at least they made a funny film without the Hollywood budget and I support creativity.
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Good storyline, great actors, very entertaining and kept me laughing. It's a mix of Magic Mike (but actually better because Magic Mike was corny AF) and American Pie. I would definitely watch it again. It's one of those feel good movies you can leave on and even it you catch glimpses of it, it's guaranteed to catch your attention or have you laughing. The ending caught me off guard in a good way. Most movies are pretty predictable. They did great at including little twists and turns to keep you tapped in while enjoying the ride. A sequel would be great. Maybe a different country/location.
After their coach is fired, four college football players learn that their scholarships have been revoked and that, unless they find a way to pay for their education, they won't be able to play for their team this upcoming season. To make matters worse, since they don't know much about anything other than football, they struggle to find any decent jobs and, feeling pretty desperate, decide to audition as dancers at a nearby strip club to make ends meet. To that end, being somewhat shy and inexperienced at this sort of thing, the madam of the strip club gives them some pills to help them overcome their inhibitions--and that's when things start to go even more haywire. Without revealing more, I will just say that this is a film some viewers may not find very appealing. The language is coarse, and even though there is no nudity, the entire movie revolves around scenes of a sexual nature. Therefore, viewer discretion is essential. On the flip side, there are some good parts, especially scenes involving Brannon Watson (as "Jay") and James Hal Hardy ("Dan"), which are especially hilarious. In short, although this movie may not appeal to some viewers, I have to admit that it wasn't all bad, and I have rated it accordingly.
Let me be first to say I am not the type to watch male strippers but I absolutely loved this movie, it had me dead laughing. From a clip on social media at ladies night we decided to watch and it did not disappoint. All attractive and funny guys with terrible dance moves to start the movie LOL. However, I appreciate being there for the journey and seeing these young guys grow into men in my eyes. The friendship between these guys was also hilarious. At times I could not see how all four of them coukd stay friends. For sure would watch it again if I want a good laugh with friends. These guys did well.
I felt the movie was great, both mixture of comedy and reality was very intriguing, genuinely told, i may not have liked a few scenes however this movie and story is a direct reflection of how sometimes people have to do anything in order to make their dreams become a reality, finish their education or even just to survive in a harsh world where people are inconsiderate. I felt that it was touching as well as relatable also very funny, the actors played a good part and they fitted in as a team perfectly.
There is a lot more I can say however let's leave it to you who takes time in watching...
