...after reading the reviews for this show that were on here, I felt compelled to provide a real review. This show is actually very interesting, and provides information you haven't heard before, and some you have but from a different perspective and with additional evidence to clarify locations and conflicts you haven't seen before. There is no "faking" or "false presumptions" or "revision of history" or "sensationalizing" like most of these comments have said, including from whomever wrote the FAKED "Trivia" comment, which is totally off base and self-aggrandizing somehow. It's like they had a personal grudge to grind. It's a well done show. Worth watching.
The 3d images with all the other technologies give you a great perception. If the guy speaking could stop talking in hyperbolics and 'first-ever' everything. Could be a lot better with better editing and voice. I still enjoyed the information that was given, love historical documentaries!
After a while the weird over american voice just gets in your head and you just wanna ask him to stop and give the information in a normal way.
But yeah, overall it was fine, i hope some new docs about the second world war will come out to enjoy and learn from.
Just stop using the voice of this person!!!! Sd.

Of unnecessary noises, fast editing (video clips flashing before your eyes that almost make you have a seizure), cool but weirdly used 3d graphics and hologram technology and important historical video moments used as B roll footage. they go so fast you can barely make up what they are.
I was looking forward to this show, but the 1st episode I saw was about Malta. I don't know why they object to mentioning the British, everything was about the "allies", conveniently forgetting there were no allies in 1940-1942, Britain was on its own. And the absolute cherry on the cake was the absurd claim of the Ame1ricans saving Malta!! Yes the Ohio was built in America, but it was requisitioned by the UK and sailed as a British ship in a British convoy, and just made it into Valletta and the expense of many Royal Navy lives. The US was not involved in Malta, at all, and to claim otherwise is not just misleading, its revisionist.
Looks like the American Media are claiming that they saved Malta, next it'll be they won Agincourt for us 🤣!..(No need to comment, it's British humour).
The dialogue implies that the supplies on board SS Ohio that eventually reached Malta which at that point was on it's knees & on the verge of surrendering, was thanks to them. What utter baloney! The program is quite informative but maybe their researcher should've checked Wikipedia first with regard to a small convoy of 67 ships under British Command called Operation Pedestal.
Look up SS_Ohio_(1940) then the section referring to the above convoy.
Having a personal interest, my father serving in The Royal Navy on Malta at the time, as well as serving on H. M. S. Hood. (He featured a documentary "The Mighty Hood" made, I believe, by a Canadian company), I found it rankled just a touch.

- TriviaThis show presents "discoveries" through use of technology in relation to battles of WW2. Although the premise is interesting, these are in no way discoveries. In one scene, they "discover" bullet holes in a hanger near Pearl Harbor using laser mapping technology. Except, every marine stationed there knows exactly where they are and the significance of the hole. Additionally, they make false presumptions in the name of art and entertainment as opposed to historically accurate representation.
