Prior to the release of Capcom Fighting Collection (2022), this game was not available outside of Japan. However gameplay elements were adapted to Darkstalkers 3 (1997)'s PS1 port and Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (2004). However, only the latter two games would use an official English translation, as the Capcom Fighting Collection is an emulation of the original arcade releases.

Alternate versions
Upgraded version of the original arcade release of Darkstalkers 3 (1997). The only difference has to do with the integration of J. Talbain, Sasquatch, Rikuo, Pyron, Huitzil, and Donovan Baine. The former three are in the first game and the latter three are in this game.
