Struggling to get a new script completed, a writers' attempts to get started are interrupted by a series of incidents around him that begin to affect his mental state to the point of paranoia, and when a potential romance with a neighbor only increases everything he tries to save his sanity.
This one was a rather troubling genre effort. This one tends to waste way too much time for the most part on an uninteresting set up in the first half that focuses exclusively on his struggles to write the story. That isn't deviated much throughout here with the various stalling tactics that are intended to show him succumbing to writer's block but instead just serve as padding to drag out the running time. It can only show a person staying at one location jotting inspirational notes to himself, staring at a blank computer screen, and falling asleep only to jolt themselves awake before it just becomes dull and monotonous which is, unfortunately, the case here. The film takes up way too much time with this, which doesn't get any better once it starts to focus on the romance angle that emerges between the two of them, which generates a far longer period of dullness before anything happens. Luckily, once something happens, this one does get slightly more interesting though not as much as expected. The series of initial antics that are utilized alongside the procrastination tricks he's attempting to work through that affect his psyche give this a wholly intriguing psychological bent that gets explored much better in the second half when everything becomes obvious regarding what's happening to him. The relationship takes a far darker tone with the series of revelations that brings up which turns this from a relationship drama into a darker thriller with how everything plays out here including the fun series of extended flashbacks that come about. Seeing how these play out and become responsible for the breaks in his mental state is quite obvious with where it's going but still maintains a sense of fun because it's coming off the rather inherent dullness that came before it. This holds it up but not enough over its flaws.
Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Language and Violence.

I struggled through this movie just to see the ending. What a disappointment! It's not shocking, riveting nor it is original. The main actor is one of the worst casting acts that I've seem in a while. Not only he looks like a retired porn actor, when the opportunity arises itself for a good sex scene, the directors in their ingeniousness decide not to include it. Instead we are getting a mix of a slow-burning horribly edited and cheap camera work. The dialog is so bad it sounds like it was written by a 5-yr old. When talking to his "editor" the main actor can barely put two words together to make a simple sentence, seriously? This is how you write? "I'm a b-grade horror-film writer" he says about himself. Really? Is that a gaff at the writers? Please save us from your bad humor and just do some good writing.
This movie is not scary, although some images in it are not suitable for kids, but the bottom line is that it is just not good. I wish I could write a spoiler for the ending but there is really nothing to say about it. There is absolutely no redeeming quality to this time waster, I can't urge you enough not to watch it. Exact score: 25 / 100.

Is it a thriller or drama or romance or comedy? I not quite get it when it watch and my mouth is O when watching.......!!!!!!?????
An indie psychological thriller film that ends unexpectedly where you think it will, the plot twisting into something else entirely in the last act.
While I feel the run time could have been shorter, when the film finally kicks into gear it's a wonderful blend of visuals and sound design. The sound design being spectacular, the scoring of this film is quite well done and takes the spotlight in this production, for me.
The visuals of our main character losing grip on reality (or simply remembering repressed events) are what wakes this sleepy movie up.
Happy to have viewed it overall.
Out now on iTunes, Apple TV On Demand, Vimeo On Demand & Physical Media.

I did not expect this film to be good, but it was, it caught me by surprise and the big twist i loved, not many people are in this film, pretty sure theres just a handful, never seen them in any other films before but they did a great job, its confusing, also a little slow but i like these type of films, its hard to classify this as an actual horror, it has some elements, more of a psychological scifi horror thriller lol its a bit of it all with drama too, you may have to classify the genre yourself, i never expected it to be what it was, it feels a lil like dark water but its nothing like it, I'm trying really hard not to give anything away lol its well acted, good stpry, pretty much a mind f@ck, just a tad slow but like i said i dont mind that, with all this pandemic nonsense happening and big budget films flopping hard cus everybody now thinks they are a critic which is really annoying becasue that misleads you into not wanting to watch the film, nowadays ignore the reviews and make your own mind up AND STOP BEING A CRITIC lol enjoy the film its really good 8/10.

I am in no way involved with this movie and I'm actually pleased that so far there are no fake 10/10 "BEST MOVIE EVER" reviews that would only distance viewers away. It's not perfect and it definitely requires patience, but if you like this type of psychological horror-thrillers, you'll be rewarded. The main actor is doing a surprisingly good job as a struggling screenwriter whose solitude and drinking seem to worsen while he struggles to remember an obviously traumatic event from the past. His female co-star is doing a fine job as well. The dream-like atmosphere is achieved almost perfectly (which saves the movie from being pretentious and/or boring) and the ending is memorable. Give it a shot.
