Film based on true events,explores the story of a small family deep in the state of rural Haryana,India.Khem Singh ,is a man plagued by the confinement of his methods and ritualistic life and doomed by his addiction to alchol and sex.He constantly forcing sex on his wife Sunita every night,essentially becoming a marital rape.On the sacred night of kadwaa-Chauth,Sunita, tired of having to bear her husband animalistic nature and lack of shame towards his daughter,musters the courage to refuse his sexual urge.The fate of a family,which was already destined for tragedy,takes a dramatic turn towards the unimaginable.
