Lydia of the Desert

The film's style was influenced by Paul Schrader's book "Transcendental Style in Film".

The filmmaker's car was almost totaled after a long day of filming. Luckily, no one was injured.

The key final scene in the film was lost due to a memory card malfunction and a van was rented a few weeks later to drive the cast and crew back to the desert location to reshoot.

A large tree unexpectedly fell down just a few feet from cast and crew at a public park while filming a scene.
