From the animation style, to the voice acting, to the brand of jokes this show is totally original and unlike anything I've really seen. Its laugh out loud funny and the characters feel super real which is refreshing from an animated show.
If you are a fan of the classic "The life and times of Tim" this is the exact same thing, basically Tom is just a younger Tim. Great characters, well written and improvised. I wouldn't expect anything less from Steve Dildarian.
While this is not a Sequel to Life & Times of Tim, it is a funny Act 2. I'm glad the Creator made another Series. All of the Cast and Guest Stars are great and the Series really comes together well. It's not meant to be a realistic series by any stretch of the imagination, but each of the episodes are very funny and are somehow very relatable.
This Series was worth the Wait, and I'm already looking forward to the Second Season.

I'm so glad I gave this show a chance. A very funny show and every character just works perfectly. It's like a funnier "Home Movies".
Ten Year Old Tom rules! Unlike the protagonist Tom, the show is not a dud. Like a more biting version of Bob's Burgers (see also: Home Movies), it's just really freaking funny.
It's also, as one critic noted, weirdly sweet, even though it follows a Curb Your Enthusiasm-type formula. Sure, Tom is painfully (below) average, and is degraded by everyone constantly. Yet, there's a sense of family to these characters -- and it's a family you'll want to join.
