Hello, Stranger

I love how this series does not involve evil third parties(Krystal was more of Xavier's personal issue) , or sudden deaths, or grandiose familial conflicts that many romances explore for lack of imagination. The story stayed more on how these two boys came into terms with their true feelings and how to express them, a coming of age in a way. The story was simple yes, but it was done right. Partnered with a laser focused story telling and honest acting, it was more than enough to deliver the message, and I felt every bit of it. They made the right decision to stick with the story, and not extend just because its popular. They can come back later for another storyline, and I will surely look forward to it.

It wasn't until Episode 3 that I got hooked with this series. Aside from it gives people a reason to smile and be smitten during a pandemic, it also has an interesting plot that is realistic and relatable. Their take on the cinematography gave a deeper dimension into the story-telling, making viewers feel that they are really part of each scene. ABS-CBN surely knows how to do it properly.

All I can say, it's worth your time. Enjoy the ride. It's light and very "now" simple story. XavMi chemistry is overflowing. The beauty of love is that, you can fall into it with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.

Super feel good series! Great acting, cinematography and editing! Really cute story. If you just want to step away from the harsh reality of the world for a few minutes and you'd like to feel a little giddy, this is a great recommendation.

I love this series beacause of the actors' undeniable chemistry. I also love that it's light and uncomplicated. They made my wednesday nights happy!
