This show could be entertaining i guess. But it feels like netflix just gave them a camera and a check. Not very funny, very forced, lots of low hanging fruit. The "education" is probably the funniest part. Because there's such a clear lack of knowledge across the aboard. I do commend them for making a business out of hanging out and testing amazon products. There's nothing special forming here. I think most people can do without this. Its pretty boring, not informative, tries so hard to be funny. But just comes off unappealing an mildly pathetic. Kind of like a child with a bad joke, but you have to keep laughing. Comparing it to mythbusters is easily the funniest thing associated this show. Could easily be surpassed. I cant see it catching widespread appeal. As even the title limits its audience. The shows content and attitude reinforces this. =) Wish you the best.
These guys sound like their combined IQ is less than 30!!!! Why would I trust their info about safety and survival when I can't even trust that they have even a basic command of the English language????? Some of these guys speak like they didn't even make it past the third grade!!! if you're going to host any kind of show the VERY LEAST you could do is speak intelligibly. You practically need a Redneck decoder ring to understand these people!!! Although, to be fair, Mikki Montgomery actually sounded like she has a good head on her shoulders and knows how to use her gray matter. The guys left much to be desired.
Immature version of mythbusters. No attempt made to follow any scientific method or design any experiments. The obviously pick their products through the "this looks cool" method of "science".
I don't know... I wanted to like this series but it just felt too cheesy, too staged and not informative enough. Maybe if it had a title that didn't involved the word "survival" it would have made more sense... like, you better hope if you find yourself in a dangerous situation that you packed all kinds of things that will help you survive, which isn't likely. They talk about products and then give no brand names or info on where to purchase these things.
It just felt more like a big joke than it did any survival tactics. The humor also falls flat. They were trying too hard. I was only able to watch 3 episodes and then didn't care anymore.
I'm very interested in "survival" products; from home safety, backpacking/camping gear, to zombie prepping, so this show seemed a natural fit. Boy, was I wrong.
The hosts of this show spend most of the time screwing around, making macho jokes and very little time with the actual products. I expected some banter, but it goes on for about 80% of the episode.
The products are not named or well-described, and purchase or acquisition info is non existent. This "show" is basically an infomercial for "Battle Box."
If interested in survival products, you'd do better to search YouTube or watch some customer reviews on Amazon.
