A Great Film with a tale of two Men named Walter

Without any waste, I know that it will be the favorite of all those who have the opportunity to see it, good actor, good script and production. The title goes hand in hand with the plot and makes you think about things in life itself... I hope everyone can enjoy it. It is noticeable that it was written and directed with passion and commitment, it manages to capture the attention of the viewer and keeps you waiting to see what everything will be like from the beginning to the end, I hope everyone can go and live the experience, especially those who like a good good production and a good script without any waste for everyone.....

My Last Best Friend

Finally a low-budget movie that dares to blend genres together, instead of playing it safe! It&#39;s a drama, a police procedural and - frankly - it even made me laugh occasionally. Amazing performance by Eric Roberts. The double role gimmick has been seen before but most of the time that all it is: a gimmick. Like the Seth Rogen mini-series where he wants to show the world how he can pull off a Polish accent (LOL). Here the different personalities displayed by the &quot;Two Walter Stoyanovs&quot; actually makes sense and, just like any good movie should do, the explanation behind the whole plot is revealed with a final twist that I found satisfying. Great movie!

This film blends Crime Drama, Thriller and Suspense into one incredible film. In New York lives two men named Walter. Walter #1 is the lottery winner and owner of the Brownstone Apartments. Walter #2 is a mysterious man with a very dark past that involves him as a member of a syndicate years ago and an unsolved murder that involves the mother of his victim. Walter #1 has his medical checkup and he has a bad cough resulting in an undiagnosed COVID. With the Pandemic rising Walter #1 goes to see his estranged son who turns him down and the Walters shared details about their lives until Walter #1 dies from COVID complications leaving Walter #2 to fulfill his wish to reconnect with his son Bobby. Walter #2 revealed his identity and the cops arrived to arrest him but the cliffhanger sets in. I am assuming that Walter #2 surrendered and Walter #1 is laid to rest alongside his wife. This film has won me over with incredible performance by the cast and crew. This is Oscar worthy in my book.

I had a chance to watch My Last Best Friend, on the big screen, in Sarasota, FL. MLBF is a very cleverly written independent movie that features a wonderful double performance by Eric Roberts as the childish, gullible Walter Stoyanov and as well as the nameless, mildly intimidating Protagonist (duh, duh, duh). The script keeps the audience guessing wether they&#39;re watching a movie about a guy suffering from multiple personality disorder or a drama featuring two twin brothers. The acting is all-around solid even for the secondary characters. I particularly appreciated Brian Byus&#39;s performance (as Robert Stoyanov, Walter&#39;s estranged son) and Adrienne Lauren&#39;s as Jennifer, the mysterious Protagonist&#39;s lover. Truly a little independent gem. Check it out.
