Within ten minutes the film rips off key elements of Stand By Me, doesn't develop any characters at all and ends up in a beyond boring mishmash of cliches and bad performances.
It's like he thought ripping off Stephen King or Spielberg-type elements of a story would make it a winner. But no dice. You forgot to make it interesting for the audience dude. We know nothing of the kids themselves and their home lives. Same goes for all the adult characters.
I hope none of you has paid good money to see this, as revisiting the original movies the "director" references in his "Synopsis" on here would be a far better investment.

Boring drama horror.. this is just all wrong evil kids wanting to be someone but not. I hate to bad mouth but hopefully you learn from this and make something stronger next time.
By a technical standpoint, the movie's not bad. It has some good camera work, the sound mixing was on point, the acting - for the most part - wasn't bad.
When the movie started, all of the characters were deplorable. As it continued, the characters only got worse. With the exception of the Snack character, all you want is to see the other characters killed. I only kept watching just to see everyone else get killed off. The worst characters were Bran (from the get-go, you want him dead), Ayla (no redeeming factors) and Scribble (just a general horrible person).
Hell, the monster (Crockamoley) was sympathetic. You wanted to see it off the entire cast - you just waited for it.
I felt like this film had potential. If it focused on the Jeni character being bullied due to her anxiety and how Snack was someone to befriend her while trying to distance himself from his "friends," it could have worked. Honestly, this film fails because its focus is on the wrong people.

Why does this exist?
This movie fails to even grasp the simple formula of horror movies, rather it shoots itself in the foot a billion times.
After watching this film. I come to a consensus, the director should never be present on a film set. He is no John Carpetner, he's a lousy investment.
Steer clear of this 'movie', it is boring and a waste of time.

Terrible acting from the characters. Scenes with the the main girl are hard to watch especially when it's 5 minutes straight of her dancing for no reason infront of her friends. No cool kills coming from the monster. Would skip again if I could.
