Out of all of the terrible remakes of classic game shows that have been coming out (Millionaire, Supermarket Sweep, Name That Tune) and even new ones that are just awful (The Hustler), this is the only one (besides maybe Match Game) that I not only enjoy, but also look forward to each new episode. Even the new The Chase is not as compelling as its predecessors.
Love Jane Lynch as the host. Only real complaints I have are that some jokes fall flat, and I wish the question rounds were longer.
EDIT: I take back what I said about jokes falling flat. I think they perfectly add to the host's character of "I don't care if you think I'm funny, i really don't want to be here."

I loved the Weakest Link back in 2001 and I'm so excited that it's back. They made it even better by adding the great Jane Lynch. Her dry humor and personality are like no other! Thank you NBC for bringing this back and making it even better by adding Jane!
I'm not a big Trivia guy, but enjoy watching and playing along when I have the Weakest Link on. There is a decent variety on questions where you might be asked about science, math, nursery rhymes, or pop culture.
Also, Jane's funny/cheesy comments make it more interesting.
I don't get why banking is considered so important on who is the strongest link though. If you got it wrong then you helped the team, but if you got it right, it is better if you didn't bank as the money jumps for more correct answers. Also, questions take too much time off the clock and if someone answers with a couple of seconds left, they can't bank that money.
The main thing that is annoying about this show (and wish they would fix) is, the strongest players gets voted off almost every game before the end, where there is nothing they can do to prevent it. In most challenge shows if you win you keep going/are safe. But in this show even if you don't miss 1 question, the others can (and usually do) vote you off because you are too good and they don't want to face you (cowards).
The Strongest Link of each round should be safe for that elimination. Like I said almost every other show if you win/are the best, you don't get eliminated.

It's a good thing that Jane is doing the show her way and not trying to be a curt Anne (who I also thought was great) from the previous run of Weakest Link. Jane gives a solid delivery with her dry humor. I enjoy the format and lightheartedness of the show. My husband and I love trivia/quiz shows and the randomness of the questions makes it fun to play along while watching. We'll keep watching!
Trivia shows are great since you can play along with the contestants. Get your answers right and you et more money!
Except on this show...
I absolutely HATE the fact that the strongest link in each round can be voted off. A person can get EVERY ANSWER RIGHT and still be voted off! The show would be improved 1000% if they made the one rule change of protecting the strongest link in each round. It would still allow someone to slip up and get voted out at any time, but reward those who excel. This should happen.
Jane Lynch is just snarky enough to make it fun without destroying the contestants. There is enough strategy so there is some thinking beyond answering the questions. There is good diversity in the contestants and just enough tough questions to be credible. Other than the fatal flaw discussed above, the show is very accessible.
