    • Trivia
While the fashion show that led to Prince William and Catherine Middleton becoming a couple and the Queen Mother's death did not actually happen the same day, they did happen in close proximity to one another. The fashion show was March 26, 2002 and the Queen Mother's death occurred on March 30, 2002.
    • Goofs
After the fashion show (which was on March 27, 2002), when Kate and William are talking, Moby's "In this World" is heard playing in the background. The song was part of the album 18, which was released on May 14 in the UK. The single was not released until November 2002.
    • Quotes

Fergus Boyd: [knocks and opens Prince William's University bedroom door] Am I disturbing?

Prince William: [gladly picks up a glass of water] In so many ways.

Fergus Boyd: [enters the room and closes the door behind him] I come with good news, then more good news and even better news. A little bit of bad news. What's first?

      Prince William: The good news.

Fergus Boyd: Kate Middleton... and you notice I pause here for dramatic effect...

      Prince William: Go on.

      Fergus Boyd: ...is *single* again!

Prince William: [adjusting his sitting position] That *is* good news.

Fergus Boyd: The more good news, she's modelling in some university fashion show *this* evening... and I happen to know the people organizing it.

[Fergus sits on one of the arms of a chair]

Fergus Boyd: And the even *better* news is, I've been assured that the tone of the show is... risqué. As in racy. And outrageous!

Prince William: [very pleased] Yeah, I know what risqué means.
