The story is simple, straightforward and complete, each episode has the right time, simple characters, in-depth description, and the robbery method returns to the original. No time wasted
Much better than the third quarter of Money Heist
I was looking for the Argentine movie of the same title which had. been recommended to me, and ended up watching this one when I found it. I'm glad I did. Very compelling characters, well acted, and a great screenplay that kept me intrigued all the way through. I am glad that the endgame, after the robbery, was also included. It made for a much richer story.
Very reminiscent of The League of Gentlemen (1960 UK), where there's always that sinking feeling that the Law is never more than 2 steps behind. But the object - to lead the audience to side with villains is done PERFECTLY here. There are also moments of humor, such as the treatment of the Police Lieutenant in charge of the bank's ramshackle "guardias" - priceless! There's few TeleSeries you could watch a second time, but this one's among those precious few.
Very good series. Fast, precise, efficient. Parra in the character of "Chayo" and Tappan in the character of "El Abogado" demonstrate once again why they are two of the most outstanding Latin American actors. Similarly, it is worth highlighting Juan Sebastián Calero as "Sarandino", who is always a good supporting actor who reinforces the plot in the series. The series its stylish and manages to get away from the melodrama and soap opera cliché that characterizes Latin American series. The soundtrack was very well chosen, accompanied by mythical Latin American songs, especially those vallenatos that give more coherence and rhythm to the story, as it accompanies the Valledupar stage. In the same way, it is a pleasure to hear an accent different from that of Medellín or Bogotá on television. I am Puerto Rican and visit Medellin in many occasions and people say to me that the costeño accent is a bit like ours, but I have to say no. However, it was a pleasure to see that they transferred that "conflict" between the "cachacos" and the "costeños" in a peculiar way and, even, in a humorous way. Anyway, good series, which reflects another Latin American story that moves away from the typical "narco". Well played by Netflix.
