The office in Beverly Hills in the scene where Marcy is looking for a casting call is actually the office of Producer Brad Wyman (Monster), who is personal friends of director/writer, Daniel Yost. Mr. Wyman can actually be seen in the background as Marcy talks to the guy at the front desk in this scene.
In order to prepare for the scene in which Marcy tries to prostitute herself on the streets of L.A., actress Tara Walker actually drank part of a flask of vodka hoping to really come across drunkenly as her character, Marcy, is in the scene. For this scene she says she drew inspiration from actress Audrey Hepburn's drugged out scene at the fountain with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday.
