One of the great episodes of TV programming

That's all I have to say. We only found this show 10 years after it ended. What a great show... This episode is wonderful. funny and poignant.

    Grating!

Not a total loss, but in shows like this where they get so raw it's hard to watch. Shirley's secret from the gang sets things up for failure from the start. Denny is about to go off the ledge. Poole is back (an incredibly unlikable character). And that cowboy is there as well. I don't know. I just watched it happen like a car crash.

Shirley Schmitt Gets Annoyed By Everybody

Shirley invites everyone from the office to her place for Thanksgiving to avoid being alone with Carl. That seems to be the premise behind this episode. While it is a good episode, it gets rather stagnant and like a stage play at Shirley's house. Poole is back for his second episode & for some reason the annoying Texas lawyer is invited too.

I vote this show as having one of the worst singing sequences as three of the cast get together at the piano & prove that they can't sing a lick at one point. At least they seem to be having fun with it. For some reason I have a feeling if they had invited Betty White over to this party, it would have livened it up.

One thing that happens this show that is different, Alan is told to shut up more often than in any other episode. In a way this is Thanksgiving with the bickering & rather than be Thankful for most of the show, these folks are making major efforts to be civil to one another. Still, it is a good show, just not the best one.

It does start the bridge to the finale, which is soon to come.

    Bruh, what a horrible episode

It's as if they WANTED to go off the air on a bad note. The total transition from a legal show to a bad sitcom at a house with absolutely no storyline. I'd watch the abortion episode (ew) again over this one.

    One of the best

It was necessary to see this amazing group in a different setting. No suits or suites. We get to see where Shirley lives.

I LOVE Melvin Partner. So pleased he was included. I suspect the fan mail asked to see more of him. He's the best guest star in the five seasons.

Just binged the whole collection for about the fourth time. I particularly like any episode with Melvin because he's the only guy that is immune to Alan.

So what better setting than around the thanksgiving table? Poole and Melvin's duet at the piano was particularly good.

Brilliant. The only downside is the approaching finale.
