Karuna is married to Rangarao after marriage she finds that he is drunkard and along with his family torture her for dowry.Karuna is killed by her in laws leaving behind her baby circumstances force her sister Vijaya to marry Rangarao.

Shripati Patil lives with two daughters Karuna and Vijaya both of marriageable age Karuna is a simple girl while Vijaya is a tough girl studying in city.Karuna's marriage gets fixed into a well do to Landge family with Rangarao who take a lot of dowry from them on the wedding night Karuna learns that Rangarao is a drunkard and soon she has to face all brunt from Rangarao as well as her in laws who harasses her for dowry.Karuna gives birth to a baby boy but nothing ends here and very soon she passes away due to burns she revels the truth to Ashok who is in love with Vijaya.Landge family find that the baby boy cant live without her mother and approach Patil to marry Vijaya to Rangaro.Vijaya decides to marry Rangarao leaving Ashok for the sake of baby in order to take the revenge on the family.
