A contemporary drama that explores the feelings and journeys we had during the lockdown

The film takes us to a fractured family and its dynamics during the lockdown in Chile. The story focused on Esteban and Daniel who try to grow their relationship in the middle of the pandemic and Esteban's estranged family. The story involves many characters and their own views and sorrows during the lockdown. Some scenes are developed within a typical setup of remote meetings just as many of us happened to experience in the past 2 years. Gustavo Letelier tells the story with an outstanding photography and character development. Through the film we get very involved with the drama and feel the stress and suffering of the worse days of the pandemic.

compelling film about love, misunderstanding and loneliness

During the pandemic crisis, a family suffers, loses communication and is separated by loneliness and anguish. Only love looks capable of producing encounter, understanding and forgiveness. The film makes us feel and understand that, in the face of a tragedy like the global health crisis, only recovering contact and truth can lead people to overcome emotional conflicts that seemed irreversible. The film story impressed me deeply because it was like breathing hope in a time when so many things seemed lost. That's the reason why I think the film is so worth to watch. It was amazing how the many locations and characters were put together to create a dramatic intimacy. I find this a very unique feature of all the movies about the pandemic that I have watched.
